TPS2115A: D1 Drop

Hi All,

I have a question about TPS2115A.

Input 3.3V in D1. If input through 1kΩ, the input voltage will drop.

If 3.3V is input directly, no voltage drop will occur.

Why is this? Do you know the cause?

Hi Ishiwata-san,

D1 is a control pin and as such it does not pull in a lot of current. We do not expect to see a voltage drop like this on this pin caused by this pin.

If acceptable, please retest this on other devices to confirm this behavior is constant. If it still occurs, there might be a system issue or some sort of extra sink on the 3.3V control.
