Hi Sir,

My customer looking for 1 cell protection IC request as below, would you pls comments suitable solution?

PCM IC features:

  1. I2C communication
  2. Overcharge voltage protection
  3. Over-discharge voltage protection
  4. Discharging overcurrent protection
  5. Charging overcurrent protection
  6. Short-circuit protection
  7. Current consumption < 10uA

Other requirements:

  1. Must have ability to digitally program PCM IC’s protection features
  2. PCM must use a Flexible and Rigid section according to design requirements

    hi Ian,
    Our 1s protection ICs (if fact none of our protection ICs) do not have a communication interface nor are programmable. Customers in general prefer protection ICs where they cannot change anything (last level of protection).
