TPS63900: Stock availability of TPS63900 and TPS61094

Hello,

I'm starting a new board and a high efficiency voltage regulator is needed with the following main specs:
- Vin [2V - 3.7V]
- Vout [3.3V]
- Iout [10uA - 400mA]

I was tending to use TPS63900 since it has stock available in Mouser. However, I saw it is out of stock in TI website.

TPS61094, on the other hand, has 4000+ units available in TI website, but is not available in big stores (probably because it's a new device, right?).

Questions:

Will TI keep producing TPS63900? Which one would you recommend for new designs, given that we'll need 1000+ pieces in the next 1 - 2 years?

Suggestions of other devices that can meet our specs are welcome.

from the spec. the TPS63900 is better solution than TPS61094. please keep using TPS63900. it is out of stock just because many customers like this IC.

1 - What are the disadvantages of using TPS61094 in this case?

2 - Will TPS63900 be available again soon (< 3 months)?

Hi Bruno,

the VOUT can't regulate at 3.3V if the VIN=3.7V if you select TPS61094.
