TPS22976: recommended operation temperature range

Hi Team,

I see in TPS22976 datasheet, there is only recommended Ta, here are two questions.

1. In some other devices such as DCDC, datasheet always provide recommended Tj rather than Ta, why does this load switch device provide recommended Ta?

2. If there is Tj opration range, how do we test Tj range during reliability tests? Using thermal resistance to calculate the Tj?

This is described in section 12.3 of the datasheet:

The Rtheta for load switches is very dependent on the layout so it is important to follow the recommended layout configuration in the datasheet.

Additionally we give a TJ max of 125C in the electrical specifications in the datasheet. We recommend keeping the ambient temperature to 105C to avoid any conditions where the maximum junction temperature could exceed the limit as the ambient temperature is more easily controlled in an operating environment.
