UC2825: Soft-Start charging current

Part Number: UC2825

Hello,

According to datasheet Soft-Start charging current can vary between 3uA to 20uA. What are the parameters/external conditions that effects the charging current?

My observations: I have an ramp generated using discrete components. Both external ramp and current feedback are connected to RAMP pin through resistor. By changing the resistor value connecting the external ramp to RAMP pin, soft start time is changing for the same soft start capacitor. Which is kind of strange because as per block diagram soft start and RAMP are completely different functions.

Please help me to understand what is going on here.

Thanks
