Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS51222
Hi
Alder Lake IMVP9.1 VCCIN_AUX Power Solution needs to report current to the CPU, so Imon Pin# is required.
NCP81270 has a PIN# "Iout" which can be reported to the CPU , as below

Hi
TPS51215A does not have a IMON pin. Would you be open to considering an external circuitry to help monitor the current?

Gerold
Hi Gareth,
TPS51222 has IMON pin. Can you check whether it is suitable?
Thanks,
Lishuang
Hi Lishuang
I will send it to the customer first
But there is still a problem ......Alder lake only when vid = 0, Output voltage = 0V, when vid = 1, Output voltage = 1.8V But when vid = 0 and 1, Power Good = High Level,
Hi,
What do you mean about VID change & PGOOD?
51222 w/o VID, should not be proper for VCCIN_AUX rail in ADL, and 51215A has no Imon, we haven't created external Imon circuit and I dont think customer can accept this since competitor has integrated solution.

Thanks
got it
Pgood #pin must be High VID to control the output voltage whether it is 0V or 1.8V
Hi Gareth,
So that we don't have suitable device if customer can't accept TPS51215A without IMON.
Thanks,
Lishuang
