TPS54560: Design challenge with 3A load current

Hi Team, 

Can you please check and advise with following request:


We use TPS54560 integrated in our power cards. However, the input voltage in our product is up to 55V due to the battery. When we draw high currents at these voltage levels, the regulator cannot meet our needs. We observe that in some of our products, bottlenecks due to IC occur and there are burning materials.

In our product where we are experiencing difficulties, we determine our Vın value as 55.6V and Vout as 13.7V. Our output current is 3A on average. The IC we mentioned is referred to as 60V Výnex, but it is stated that failures occur under 3A load.
