TL431-Q1: TL431A-Q1 accuracy

Part Number: TL431-Q1

Dear team,

My customer TL431A-Q1 in their project, and they tested several chips and found that every device's output is 2.47V instead of the typical value 2.495V. I know our range is 2.47V-2.52V, but in my understanding, most chips should be 2.495V instead of 2.47V, right?

But my customer test several chips which are all 2.47V. Is this normal? If not, is this phenomenon related to their schematic as below?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Sherry

  • Hi Sherry,

Is the voltage reference voltage measuring test setup the same as the schematic above? Where are they measuring the 2.47V at?

Any ESR and load current between U8 and the point of measurement can explain voltage droop.
