TPS62743: Ripple Voltage in TPS62743 under PWM & PFM

HI,

I seen the low load efficiency is improved when switching TPS62743 to PFM mode.

How the output ripple voltage is affected? Could you please provide the comparison of the ripple voltage profile in PWM and PFM.

Hi,

The difference between PWM and PFM mode is shown on Figures 9-15 and 9-16 in the datasheet.
To get a better understanding of the mode of operations, please check Sections 8.3.1 and 8.3.2 in the datasheet.

Thanks for the data. I have seen the application curves. Is there any quantitative analysis of ripple voltage available?

Data on how ripple voltage is changing from PWM to PFM mode or vice versa.

Hi,

There is no data for the transition from PWM to PFM or vice versa for this device in particular.
