TPS22918: recommended circuit to avoid VIN<VOUT of TPS22618.

Hi,

He has already ordered TPS22918DBVR.  However, he found to exist the case of VIN<VOUT of TPS22618 on his system.  Could you please let us know the recommended circuit to avoid VIN<VOUT?  Please advise us.

    Hattori-san,

    TPS22918 is not meant to be used in situations where the output voltage is larger than the input voltage.

    This device has no form of reverse current blocking and so use in this situation may cause unwanted behavior or damage to the device.

    We recommend keeping the output voltage clamped lower than the input voltage or to use a device like TPS22917 with integrated reverse current blocking.
