Hi Team,

Does we have the minimum application voltage of TPS651851 ?

My customer will use TPS651851 at a panel system, and they will use a super capacitor(~5.5V) at the VBUS, and charge with our BQ24640 super cap charger.

They want to know what's the minimum application voltage, then they will calculate how long the system can work by super capacitor after the unplug the adapter.

Hi Kai,

The TPS651851 minimum input voltage will depend on the application load current requirements for LDO1 and LDO2:

LDO1 Load	LDO2 Load	Minimum Input Voltage
<=150 mA	<=120 mA	3.0 V
>150 mA*	>120 mA*	3.6 V

*Max output current is 200 mA.

How much power consumption from PMIC Enable to PMIC Power ready?
How much time cost for power up?

Hi Kai,

To clarify, are you asking for the peak power consumption during the PMIC power up sequence? For this you can refer to Figure 5 and Figure 6 in the datasheet, which show inrush current as the PMIC is powering up. Power consumption would be calculated as Vin * Iinrush.
Power up timing depends on the power up sequence delays (UDLYx) used by the customer. The default setting for each is 6 ms. Please refer to Figure 2 in the datasheet for the power sequence timing diagram.
