TPS7B4250-Q1: Does the TPS7B4250-Q1 become high-Z after thermal shutdown?

Part Number: TPS7B4250-Q1

Hi team,

Does the TPS7B4250-Q1 become high-Z after thermal shutdown? Or, the device pull down to GND?

Regards,

Nishimura

  • Hi Nishimura-san,

During the thermal shutdown, the LDO is shutting down the pass-FET and the output impedance could become high. But please kind in mind, the thermal shutdown is a temporary state, and normally when it happens, the LDO will cycle in and out from the thermal shutdown. The output impedance could change rapidly as well.
