Hi Team,

A customer is considering replacing LM809 in an existing design with TLV809E.
Are there any major differences in the performance of the devices or is TLV809E a drop in replacement?

    Hi Stefan,

    No major differences other than the TLV809E can operate at a wider temp range, consumes much lower Iq current, and has a little higher operating voltage (5.5V vs 6V).  Overall, the TLV809E is a improved version of the LM809.
