Hi,
The datasheet says that "When no input source is attached, the VSTOR node should be discharged to ground before attaching a storage element. Hot-plugging a storage element that is charged (for example, the battery protector PFET is closed) and
with the VSTOR node more than 100 mV above ground results in the PFET between VSTOR and VBAT_SEC
remaining off until an input source is attached"
Now I experience the PFET remaining off when I hot plug a charged battery and VSTOR is more than 100mV, this usually happens when I disconnect and reconnect the battery while not having an input source attached. Now In my application I do not need to hot plug the battery however I will use the CS to disable the BQ25505 when I decide to re-charge the battery via an external USB charger chip.
Question: After charging the battery via the external charger chip, can the PFET remain OFF when the BQ25505 is enabled again if the VSTOR node is at more than 100mV and there is no input source?
Many Thanks
Fabrizio
