Hi Team,

My customer required Functional Safety compliant PMIC for AM5708 Device. Can we suggest TPS65917-Q1 for the same. This device is not listed as AM570x supporting PMIC.

Please help with your suggestions and input.

Hi Matthew,

Please see this post for a recommended power solution for AM5708. TPS65916 and TPS65917-Q1 are the same core silicon and are pin to pin compatible. If you can find an OTP version of TPS65917-Q1 that fulfills the same power requirements as the specific OTP mentioned in that post then that solution will work. A custom OTP is an option but will require a sufficient business case.

I checked the supply rails for AM5708 and TPS65917 PMIC is able to power up this SoC.
