BQ27520-G4: Golden file format

Part Number: BQ27520-G4

Hi,

I am considering reducing the writing time of golden files.
Please tell me the difference between srec, bqfs or dffs files.
Which format is suitable for writing a golden file to Fuel Gauge for the first time in the mass production process?

Best Regards,
Shun.

  • Hello Shun,

The srec and bq.fs both contain the firmware and dataflash memory, the df.fs only contains the data flash memory.

You can use SLUA801 Gauge Communication with your own MCU to program a flash stream file very quickly, if you don't need to upload firmware to the gauges then the df.fs would be quickest.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
