TPS650250: Do you have any data for Long Term Stability of DCDC1 output voltage?

Part Number: TPS650250

 Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using TPS650250 for their new products.

They will use DCDC1 of the device for ARM CPU core as 1.26V power supply set by 2 external resisters (1.1k ohm - high side and 910ohm - low side).

They want to know how much the output voltage is shifted in aging except peripheral parts (L, C, R) aging.

Do you have any Long Term Stability data of DEFDCDC1 reference voltage?

Your reply would be much appreciated.

 Best regards,

 Kazuya.

  • Hello,

Normally Min/Max tolerance number provided in the datasheet already includes the aging related variation and customer should use this value. Depending on their load current, they should also include variation due to load (load regulation). However, I have forwarded this request to the device expert supporting this device and she will provide you the feedback in USA timezone if she has any additional information on this topic.

    Regards,

    Murthy

  •  Hello Murthy,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Also thank you for asking the device expert.

The customer and me hope that TI has the data and we are looking forward to receiving additional information.

Thank you again and best regards,

     Kazuya.

  • Hi Kazuya,

As Murthy mentioned, the min and max values provided in the datasheet should already include age related variation and tolerance. You can find figures related to load and efficiency for DCDC1 in the Application curves section as well. This is the available data for any kind of long term stability of TPS650250.

    Best,

    Emily
