LM5117: LM5117 output voltage is issue

    When debugging LM5117, we found that the input voltage is lower than 45V, and the output is only 15V(issue). If we increase the voltage to 50V, the output is ok (normal output voltage is 23V), and then reduce reduce the voltage to 26V, the output is also ok.

  • Please check the design using the LM5117 quickstart calculator (this file is available from the product folder).

    Note these FETs are extremely capacitive. Check that the DC gate drive current consumption (Qg*Fsw for each FET) does not exceed the VCC current limit. For alternative 60V devices with much better Rdson*Qg figure-of-merit, see the CSD18563Q5A.
