TPS65916EVM: python 2.7 not detected

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Using the EVM's GUI, our customer is getting the error message "python 2.7 not detected" even though he has python installed in his system. Installed as admin on a Win10 64-bit system. What do you think could be the cause?

Hello,

You may download again the GUI, restart the pc and check if it works. Please let me know if it fix the problem.

The customer have tried downloading again the GUI but is encountering the same error.

Hi Art,

Mahmoud is OoO so I am jumping in. My first guess would be that the GUI is 32bit so it would need a 32bit python 2.7.0.0 installed. Next guess would be that it needs to be located in C:\Python27 but that seems less likely. Do they need scripting though? I thought the GUI worked even without scripting.
