Same question as was answered >2 years ago. Why does webench not support TPS40170.

Hi Ken,

The LM5145 provides better performance and is favored over the TPS40170. We have WEBENCH and an Excel quickstart tool available for the LM(2)5145 / LM5146 family. I will check on the WEBENCH model for the TPS40170.
