BQ25600D: HiZ mode using an external signal

Part Number: BQ25600D

Customer Question-

We have a housekeeping IC that can perform a hard reset.  This IC currently outputs an active-high RESET signal for 1 second.  When this signal is high, we expect all power sources to cut power to the system.  When this signal goes high, I would like the BQ25600D to enter HiZ mode so that the USB power path stops supplying power to the system.

Is there a way to force the BQ25600D into HiZ mode using an external signal?  We could add a loadswitch on VBUS.  We could even just short REGN to GND.  But i am curious if this PMIC supports any more elegant solutions.

Thanks!
