UC3707: About power sequence

Hello.

I am evaluating UC3707 under the following conditions.

Vc=40V Vin=Digital input=5V

Input frequency =40KHz

Do I have to worry about the Vc and Vin power sequences when turning the IC power on and off?

This is because Vc is on and the IC may have been destroyed when the Vin power was turned on / off.

Hello,

Power sequencing for this IC, we recommend the following to prevent activating logic stage esd:

Vc => Vin => PWM

For power off, follow the opposite PWM, Vin, Vc.

As long as the power supplies and signals are within recommended operating conditions, the IC should be OK.

Thank you The large load capacity was the cause of the failure, so it seems that I don't have to worry about the power sequence.
