Hi Tim,

Thanks for your interest in TI FETs. TI provides PCB footprints for most of the popular CAD tools. Click on Design & development in the product folder and you will find a link to download CAD/CAE symbols. Select your CAD tool and download the zip file which includes an import guide for your CAD tool to generate and import the symbol. Let me know if you have any questions or run into problems.

Hi John.

I have had a look at this already, however it seems that I use cadance 17.4. Following the instructions gave me no import information. Is there any special hoops I need to try for cadance 17.4?

Hi Tim,

I'm using Cadence 17.2 and was able to create the footprint in the attached zip file. I'm not exactly sure if this is what you need. Can you please explain what you mean by silkscreen mask? This footprint includes silkscreen for the ref des as well as the outline of the package.
