1) Which microcontroller has been used on BQ76PL455EVM?

2) Is there any provision for by passing this controller? I want to connect my own controller to BQ76PL455EVM is it possible? if yes then How?

Hello Aniket,

The BQ76PL455EVM does not contain a Microcontroller installed on it.

The communication to a microcontroller can be achieved by connecting to J3 on the EVM schematic by using a MCU with a UART interface.

In the schematic diagram on Page 64 you can see the description for J3 connector and pin assignments.

1)what signal should i send from GPIO pin of controller to wake up BQ?

2) is it require to give 5V supply at pin three of j3 header? How isolation between this 5V supply and 48V supply connected at j1 header happen?
