TPS6521815: EEPROM setting for i.MX6 Dual lite

Part Number: TPS6521815
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS6521845

Hi support team.

I received a question from my customer.

Is the following application note correct in the understanding that it is a resource for users to program sequences and voltage settings for i.MX 6 solo or Duallite?

https://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/an/slvae94a/slvae94a.pdf

Also, could you please show me the EEPROM setting data of i.MX6 Dual lite?

If not, can I understand that the TPS6521845 has the settings described in the application note above programmed into EEPROM? (I want to know if it can be replaced)

Best regards,

Higa

  • Hello,

Yes, the application note you linked is our resource for users to program sequences and voltage settings for the i.MX6 Solo or DualLite. All our of available register settings are listed in the TPS6521845 datasheet, and you may be able to find the settings for NXP's i.MX6 Solo or DualLite on their website.

If you are looking to design a system for the i.MX6 Solo/DualLite, the TPS6521845 is the best option with no additional programming required. If there is a change required due to a difference in power sequencing or block diagrams, you can use the user-programmable version of the PMIC, the TPS6521815 and follow the recommendations in the note you linked.

    Best,
    Emily

  • Hi Emily-san
