Does the surface material of the parts of TPSM82822SIMLR or TPSM82823 contain metal?

My customer's designs pad according to SMT Rule will exceed the solid body and fear of short circuits caused by Tin-to-surface contact.

Hi Feng,

Could you clarify what you mean by surface of the TPSM82822/3?

Also could you further expand upon the customer's concern of short circuits when soldering the device? We haven't had this problem before.

The inductor on this buck module is exposed - thus its metallic electrodes are also exposed, but I am not sure if that is what you are referring to.

Thank for your help. Customer would like to know what is the material of the side? Will it get tin at assembly?

Hi Feng,

The material on those sides of the module is FR4 - not Tin.
