My customer want to know that:

Can you please tell me that how can we achieved spread spectrum enabled in Boost mode
I have to use this IC with my 21.5" display
what should be my Vin and VDD for full feature support in tps92390

Hi Aosker,

You could tie BST_SYNC with VDD to enable the boost spread spectrum function.

I think the VIN and VDD requirements is from whole display system but not LED driver right? This device can support all range within datasheet.

So I can apply 3v3 on both?5V on Vin is full feature requirement

Hi Aosker,

Yes it is OK to apply 3.3V to both VDD and VIN. Charge pump function need to be turned on when VDD below 5V. But the efficiency is not good while VIN is low. What application and LED configuration customer want to designed for?
