Hi Min,

TLC59116 is pin to pin with TLC59116F and there function is almost same. But there is one different between.

An external resistor should be connected in R-EXT pin for TLC59116.

For TLC59116F, The LED current is primarily dependent on the supply voltage, the forward voltage of the LED, and the series resistor (RSET). In many applications the supply voltage and LED forward voltage cannot be adjusted. Hence, RSET is utilized to adjust the LED current.

For TLC59116, the Maximum LED current can be set by one resistor which connected in the R-EXT pin. The details can be found in the datasheet.

If the Rext pin is foating, the maximum current of each channel is 25mA.
