Can TPS7A9201DSK be used as a drop-in replacement for TPS7A9101DSK? In particular, would you expect PSRR and noise performance to change, given no change to other components in the system, leaving the output capacitor at 10uF and the maximum load current at 1A?

Hi Mark,

Yes the TPS7A92 can be a drop in replacement as you described. I would expect PSRR and noise performance to remain the same, but keep in mind that the current limit of the TPS7A92 is higher than the TPS7A91.

In the same vein, can the TPS7A9101DSK be used to replace the TPS7A9001DSK, with the same noise and PSRR performance, given that the maximum current is restricted to 500mA and all other components are identical? By extension, this would mean a TPS7A9001DSK could be replaced by either the TPS79101DSK or the TPS7A9201DSK, with the understanding that the current limits are increased.
