Let me collect some more information so we can begin debugging this. Are you able to read and write to the other registers normally? Are you only having trouble writing to the ChargeCurrent() register, or does this apply to other registers as well?

Many registers allow you to work with them. But 25% do not allow you to change the values in any way. Only when BQ25731 is no connection.

Thanks for the detailed information. The BQ2573x GUI has a glitch, and we are working to update it. In the meantime, do you have an EV2400 or EV2300 that you can use for evaluation with BQStudio? If so, then I can send you the .bqz configuration file.
