TPS43061: TPS43061 as s TPS43060 substitute

I'll ask the team about the status of TPS43060. Another difference about TPS43061 is its drive voltage reduces to 5.5V. So the driving loss will reduce but the conduction loss increases and depending on the operating condition is could cause higher loss. Also, it wouldn't hurt to check the SW, VCC, BOOT, and HDRV waveform to make sure the bootstrap is working correctly.

Thank you for the reply. I found a cold solder on SW and BOOT. I suspect this have something to do with it. I will try to rework and test again.

I  think the question is now : If I have a circuit that works with TPS43060, and the FETs are already NexFET and optimized for TPS43061. In principle, I should be able to use TPS43061 if I remove the schottky diode (and shunt the 2Ohm resistor), the same circuit should work. No need to adjust FETs, comp circuit, etc?

I will just remove the diode, short the 2Ohm resistor and use TPS43061 then.
