LP87524P-Q1: Customized OTP settings

Hello Experts,

My customer is trying to build their own board with LP87524PRNFTQ1. In case they want to use LP87524PRNFTQ1 with different OTP settings from the default, will TI prepare PMIC with customized OTP settings? Or should they change registers by I2C by themselves?

Best regards,

Ken

  • Hello,

It is possible for them to change settings through I2C writes to the registers, however those settings will be lost once powered down. They can only access the volatile part of the memory, not the OTP.

For custom OTP it needs business case review with the product line to make sure we meet the minimum volume for a custom spin.

    Thanks.
