LM5156: Syntax error using in LTSpice

Genius 9880 points

Hi team,

Customer encountered error when using the unencrypted model in the LT Spice. Below is the customer inquiry.

"When attempting to use the PSpice model in LTSpice it first comes up with a syntax error  at the line containing 5u*V(U8_UVLO_OK). I assume that is due to the extra "}" but am not sure. Once that error is eliminated I run the simulation but the IC does nothing, no output, no toggling on the gate, SS never rises, etc. no matter how long I leave it run. I do see there was another post (https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/power-management-forum/978593/lm5156-using-unencrypted-pspice-model-in-ltspice)  about this but I don't know if he ever got it to run. The reason I need to use LTSpice, besides the fact that I am more familiar with it, is that the topology I want to run it in is quite different than anything TI (or any other driver manufacturer) has ever posted. And webbench is way too constricting to allow a different topology.

"

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Maynard
