Good day. We have received inquiry from customer that there is an error in datasheet regarding the package measurement, kindly please confirm. Below is the details.
"
When determining the spacing between each of the LMR36015’s pads our engineers used the diagram available on page 44 of the LMR36015 datasheet. The spacing between pads 3&4, 5&6, 6&7, and 8&9, numbered in red in the attached image, are made clear by the note “4x0.5”. The same can be said for the spacing between pads 1&2 and 10&11, numbered in purple in the attached image. These gaps are made clear by the note “2x0.65”
The information isn’t immediately clear, however, when it comes to the spacing between pads 2&3 and 9&10 (marked by green “?” in the attached image). Only by working backwards from the spacing between pads 1&4 can one calculate what the pad spacing is supposed to be. An additional “2x0.65” callout, or even changing the original callout to read “4x0.65” would go a long way in preventing this mistake in the future. In our case, we didn’t catch this mistake until it was too late. We hope that by bringing this issue to your attention and asking for clarity in the datasheet that this problem can be avoided by your customers going forward.
