LM3710: How to use PG output (which is open-drain active HIGH) on this part when there's no low-voltage available?

Part Number: LM3710
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM7310, , LM73100EVM

I need to show indication of currently selected power path A/B and of course I thought PG being opedrain, would be active low, and be able to pull up to VIN to drive a led.

However after making the board and observing the actual operation (A/B indication was swapped) I re-read the datasheet and noticed PG is active high and needs to be pulled to VLogic ?!

Since I don't always have 3.3V available (system goes to sleep, turning off regulators) how am I supposed to indicate which battery is selected?

I wonder what was the decision behind not making PG active low like every other PG indicator everywhere.

EDIT: Part# is actually LM7310
