Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76200,
Hello,
How can we interface the constant current charge pump interface charge / discharge of the BQ40Z80 with the input interface of the BQ76200 ?
Best regards

Hello,
I don't understand your question, can you clarify what you would like to do?
The gauge can't control the current, it uses a charge pump to open and close the CHG and DSG FETs.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Keller
We currently use some very high gate charge (>150nF) NMOS group, so we would like to use the high current sourcing capabilities of the BQ76200 to get a better switching delay for overcurrent protection, while keeping the BQ40Z80 as gauge. So indeed we need to convert the charge pump (BQ40Z80) output to 3.3V logical input (BQ76200)
Hello,
You will need to implement some external level shifter before connecting the bq40z80 outputs to the bq76200. This is a system level design question which you will have to decide based cost/size/etc.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Keller
