Hi, we are trying to safely integrate the wireless charger IC with the USB OTG and single cell lithium charger for a wireless device. Any recommendations? It appears that the wireless charger would act as an auxiliary power source, 5V, some current. This could be injected into PMID pin, but it is outside of the documented operations of the BQ25892.

Hi Eric,

Yes the BQ51013B can be used as a power supply. You can take a look at the datasheet section titled: BQ51013B Wireless Power Receiver Used as a Power Supply. For a BOM, you can possibly look at the EVM user guide.

As the BQ51013B is a 5W receiver, you'll need to design the charger portion accordingly.

Anthony, thanks! The only feature we don't get in this configuration is QI with OTG simultaneously. This is ok, so we are moving forward as recommended!
