TPS2373: Advise for PoE conformance test

Hi, Sir,

We implemented TPS2373 for PoE 802.3bt and encountered some problems to pass test conducted with Sifos tester.

Could you please give us some suggestions?

    Hi, 

    Thank you for your question. 

    After checking the SIFOS reports, it looks like the fails are coming from detection capacitance and class signature. 

    For detection capacitance fail, can you try removing CB42 and CB64? If CB46 and CB63 are populated, could you also remove these as well? I believe these are the components contributing to the fail. 

    For class signature fail, the -1 values in the report spike out to me that the testing setup is incorrect. One way to check the testing setup is to use our TPS2373-4EVM-758 and run this board through your testing setup. It will pass SIFOS if the testing setup is correct.
