TPS65132: changing the output voltage of TPS65132

Hi team,

Can the output voltage of tps65132 be changed or fixed at the factory? If it can be changed, where?

The current design is that tps65132 connects SMBus to IC write register through EC to output ± 5.7v, but always only ± 5.4v output.

Hello Zhonghui,

There are default output voltages that the device comes pre-programmed with from factory. For example TPS65132B5 comes pre-programmed with default voltages of +/-5.5V. If customer wants to have voltages other than the default voltages, they need to program it using I2C interface one time and write that new voltage setting to eeprom. Once written to eeprom, device will always come up with new default voltage.

Besides the default voltages already available (A0, B5 etc.), output voltages can not be changed at the factory.
