Part Number: TPS7A33

Hi team,

do we have anything similar to the LT3081-LT3091?

Other than the TPS7A33/53 and the LM337 family, do we have anything else that has negative Vin and Vout ?

Specifically I would need: -5V5 circa    ->    LIN_REG    ->    -5V @ 2,5..3A    but also a second possibility would be   -3V8 circa    ->    LIN_REG    ->    -3V3 @ 2,5..3A.

This means adjustable output.

Thanks,

Adrian

  • Hi Adrian,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    Can you clarify your output current requirements? Is it 0.3A?
    If it is lower (like say 150mA) I wanted to quickly highlight a device that does both the +/- rails in a single package: TPS7A39.

    However if your output current is in fact 0.3A, I would like to recommend looking at the following: LM337, LM237, LM337-N, LM2991 & UCC284.

    For further Adjustable + Negative Output recommendations please go here: www.ti.com/.../products.html

    Hi Wilson,

    no. The output current has to be in the range of 2.5 Ampere, up to 3A.
    I actually did the research on the product folder and came to the conclusion of picking the same devices that you suggested. The limitation that I found though was the current, which peaks at a max of 1.5A in our devices.

    Do we have anything on the roadmap?

    Hi Adrian,

    No we do have anything currently and we do not share roadmap information on the forums.
