Current sense amplifier gain (UCD7242)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCD7242

In the UCD7242 electrical specifications table on sheet 4 (& the Imon section on sheet 16), the current sense amplifier gain is defined with a min-max range of 19 - 21 uA/A for all load currents > ΔI/2.  However, this is not what I measured on the eval board PMP6730B.  I modified the output L-C filter and the switch frequency to provide 1.8V output from a 5.5V input while switching at 750kHz.  My current probe in series with the output inductor measured a ΔI/2 = 288mA.  I have a 6.65 kohm resistor from Imon to GND.  In the list below, I show what I measured (both on a scope & a DMM) on the Imon pin.  You can see that I measure amplifer gains that are significantly above the acceptable range in the datasheet.  Did I make a mistake in how I measured this, or is the datasheet incorrect about the tolerance of the amplifier gain?

Load I     Imon V     Amp Gain

0.50A      108mV     32.50  uA/A

0.75A      133mV     26.67 uA/A

1.00A      158mV     23.76 uA/A

1.50A       217mV    21.75 uA/A

2.80A       380mV     20.41 uA/A
