Kindly help me in understanding SOA of CSD17501Q5A.
1. What is significance of RDS(on) linit area.
2.What is the pulse duty cycle in SOA when pulsed current is for 1sec, 100ms.
I have to design a CDS fet as switch. In datasheet it claims to be of 100A continuous current. But my fet gets heats up at 15A, when my drain voltage varies from 12-18V & I kept my gate voltage at 25V. What could be the possible fault.
Suggest me some notes or book which help in designing a better performance switch for higher current.
