BQ2083 and BQ29311 2cell battery ?

Hello I'm planing to buy bq2083 evaluation module that is based on bq2083 and bq29311 and it's stated that it's working only with 3,4 cell pack is there any chance that it will work with 2 cell pack after some small adjustments ,I have limited space and this module is perfect for me in size .

The problem there is the operating voltage of the bq29311 is not adequate for 2-series cells. Most of the newer gauges are OK, however. Perhaps the bq2084 would work for you. If you want smallest size, look into the bq20z75 where AFE and Fuel Gauge are combined into one package. You have lots of options.

Besides using our multi-cell gauges for a 2-cell application, there are also options for extending our single-cell gauges to work with 2-cells. The benefit may be that the solution size is smaller.

well it's clearly stated that supply voltage is from ? to 25V

Take a look at the electrical characteristics tables in the bq29311 datasheet. For example, the table for the 3.3V LDO regulator only specifies output regulation for input voltages above 6.5V. So, somewhere below 6.5V input, the device isn't going to function well. Thats not very usable for a 2-series cell application.
