When increasing power FET current to test the ILIM function I find that the output goes low as it should when ILIM is exceeded, but a single 5 usec pulse appears at the output about 800 usec after the ILIM comparator trips. Soft start C = 10uF, Rt = 42.2K, Ct = 4700pF, LEB C = 200pF, free running freq = 9.7kHz, sync freq = 19.5kHz. I would like to know how to get rid of that lone pulse after shutdown.
Take a look on the SS pin and see if it is oscillate with a small ramp at the same frequency.
Send me a copy of the schematic and traces of the SS pin, Ilim pin, EAOUT pin and OUTA or OUTB.
