I have had previous experience with the BQ24032, and it's DPPM, which I love for mobile electronics. I also have had experience with the BQ24650 Solar Charger. From what I can see, kind of seems like DPPM is VMPPT for both IC's is more or less the same.
Reason I ask is that I have small electronics system which needs something like DPPM due to it's ease of use, while being able to charge from a ~5V Solar Module...which can go up and down. Seems like any DPPM Lithium Charger would work (such as BQ24232)?
System: Solar will come in and out often...could jump in and out every second...this is why I need something more real-time such as DPPM.
Solar ==> Li+ Charger w/ Single Cell Li+ ==> System
Am I on the right path? Can you TI guys verify? Any other suggestions?
