TPS62260LED-338 Eval board: Light blending and adjustment

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62260LED-338

I have a couple of questions on the TPS62260LED-338 eval board.

  1. The 3 LEDs are separated from each other so it isn’t easy to view the blending of the LEDs to get the other colors (ex. Green/Red = Amber).
    1. Any suggestions on better viewing? (Some type of translucent diffusion material?)
    2. The 3 LEDs continually turn on and off until I turn the rotary control.
      1. The manual states that the LEDs are to be adjusted by turning the rotary control.
      2. Nothing changes when I turn this control – any suggestions?
  • - You could try wax paper or perhaps cut up a plastic milk container to make a lens cover diffuser.

    - In Auto mode, the color triangle is "traced" at a preset rate and you should see the color cycle in a repeatable pattern. In Manual mode, the position of the rotary control determines the color. Rotating the control moves to another point on the outside of the color triangle. You can trace the color triangle in clockwise or counter clockwise fashion by rotating the control in likewise direction.
