Our customer is evaluating bq2057T/W for their new design. Can you recommend these devices for new design though these are a little bit old devices.
They hope to use linear type because they do not need high charge current and need to reduce BOM cost.
Please let me know if you have any concern to use these devices.
Here is their requirement.
Vin = 12V
Vout = 8.4V (2s1p)
Iout = 300mA (1/10*C)
Capacity = 3Ah
