TL7712A- Residual Energy in Timing Cap attached to CT Pin- Will it damage chip when Vcc falls

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL7712A

Is 2.2uF a safe value to use on the CT pin for the TL7712A?

If not, Is 1.0uF a safe value to use on the CT pin for the TL7712A?

The TL7712A has a programmable reset pulse duration based on choice of capacitance attached to the CT Pin.

However, it is apparent that this capacitance retains charge and voltage when VCC is turned off. Thus current from the capacitor will enter the CT pin. Is 2.2uF too large because excessive current will enter the CT pin when VCC falls after being turned off?
