Switching Noise in LM5010

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5010

I am using LM5010 buck converter my input voltage is ~ 20-25V and the output is 3.3V.  I am having the following switching noise at pins A1 and A2 (+3.3V).

Green is the +3.3V ouput and Yellow is my switching waveform. Please suggest me what can I do to reduce the switching noise. My layout is as per suggested in the reference design.

  • Add a reverse diode between switch node and the sense resistor. If this exists, add a RC snubber. R=2 ohms and C = 1nF to 2nF. Across the diode.
This solves the problem. Further don't use these IC's in the design as they are having multiple issues. I am facing multiple issues with TI IC's.
Also first check on their eval boards first. Because they themselves might have issues.
Also, check the sample rate you have chosen and the way you are connecting the probe. The probe might also catch the noise which does not really exist.
