Hello,

The TLV62080 current limit is 1.6A(min) and soft start is 100us(typ).

If we use the TLV62080 with Cout=65uF, Vout=3.3V,Vin=5V, Iout=1A.
At this condition, the inrush current will be 2.145A on the following calc.
Q=CV,
Irush = Q x dv/dt=65uF x 3.3V / 100us = 2.145A

In this case ,is the current limit of TLV62080 operated for this 2.145A inrush current?
If yes, could you please share the output voltage and current waveform example?
I would like to check we should change the device or not.

I don't think this should be an issue but we can check for you. Alternative devices are the TLV62090 with a SS pin to set the time and the TLV62084 with a higher current limit.

Are there any updated?
I checked the Vout voltage with Cout=122uF(Vout=2.5V) on the TLV62080EVM as attached.
I think that there is no problem. I'm looking forward to your checking.

Yes, this seems expected and ok. As you can see from your plot, the SS time is longer since you are likely hitting current limit at startup. This is ok.

Here is a plot of the normal startup with 2.5Vout and 1A load.

Here is the startup with your added Cout.

Red is Vout, green is inductor current, blue is EN, and yellow is SW.
